Drawing candles
|
|
For dipping candles you have to dip the wick a couple of times into suitable wax (Paraffin 54C or 56/58C) including breaks in which the wax cools again. During each dip a bit more wax clings to the wick – until the candle becomes as thick as you wish. With the help of a dipping tank (photo) you can create various candles at the same time. With the aid of a dipping carrousel you can handle a couple of those tanks one after another in a continuous process without any breaks in which the wax cools. There
isn’t hardly any limit concerning the capacity of these machines!

The completed, still warm candles have to be cut with scissors and
hung in pairs on a rack in order to let them cool.
